The big vision for this arts festival is a strong belief that respectful dialogue leads to bridges being built between individuals and between community groups.

With open hearts and minds, a deeper understanding develops regarding different faith, spiritual and cultural groups.

The idea is that what unites us is greater than what divides us and that we as a people need hope and inspiration to help in turn make our world a better home for all.

Lineup includes musicians The Paperboys, The Small Glories, Linda MacRae, Rae Spoon, The Leela Gilday Band, Cris Derksen, Hope Bay Common, Maureen Washington, Decades After Paris, Rae Spoon, Lauren Mann, Liz Dieleman, Deer and Coyote, Whitebird, The Lake Men & Benedict Beattie.

Keynote speaker is Christian social activist Shane Claiborne.

Workshop panels on Saturday and Sunday include: open mic for songs and spoken word, the Kairos Blanket Exercise, songs and stories from Buddhist and Jewish storytellers, environmental and social activists exploring the theme ” Caring for Our Common Home” , poets exploring ” Visions”, authors addressing the subject ” Finding Meaning in Life”, garden meditation walk,

The festival will close with a free concert, followed by a meal and the closing Christian worship with the AbbeyChurch.
